M. Ward Live at Somerville Theatre

My girlfriend treated me to an M. Ward concert at the Somerville Theatre two nights ago. M. Ward has an extremely unique stage presence that can only really be witnessed and experienced. The show was fantastic opening with Daniel Johnston's original "To Go Home" with Matt and the band joining in after the first verse. They played the majority of the newest release, "Post War" which pleased me because it was one of the few albums that helped me make it through the summer. For the first encore we were graced with Matt coming out on his own and playing one of his guitar solo's and then Vincent O'Brien. To close the 1st encore they played the fitting new track "Magic Trick" which contains the refrain, "She's got one magic trick, just one and thats it... She dissapears." They left but not before they crowd brought them out for "Vincent O'Brien". Once I listen to the recording of the show I'll post the setlist.
