M. Ward Is Fantastic
Post-War, the new M. Ward album is amazing. It comes out this Tuesday and he's going on tour this fall. "To Go Home"(download thanks to Bricolage Fantasy) is brilliantly crafted and really grabs me especially as I prepare to head back to the East Coast. The whole album is full of somber love songs full of crackling vocals and old time sounds. M. Ward creates a unique sound that makes me think he recorded the whole album through a tin can. Go and buy this album tuesday and I'll see you at the Somerville show in Massachusettes.

WOOOOOORD! I gotta give J-Geto props for getting me into M. Ward via the song Helicopter, but goddamn is he good. Also check out Scott H. Biram to go one level further into the musical genre.
