More ASSSSCAT's on DVD

Matt Besser from the Upright Citizens Brigade updates his Q&A area every few weeks and it looks like there may be new ASSSSCATs on DVD in the next 10 years. Don't hold your breath because season 2 of UCB is nowhere in sight but new ASSSSCATs could be almost as fun.

6)What are you up to these days?
- I’m currently writing a sketch pilot for TBS.
- UCB is negotiating a deal to release new Asssscats on DVD.
- …and other projects too sensitive to discuss in the light of day.

M. Ward Live at Somerville Theatre

My girlfriend treated me to an M. Ward concert at the Somerville Theatre two nights ago. M. Ward has an extremely unique stage presence that can only really be witnessed and experienced. The show was fantastic opening with Daniel Johnston's original "To Go Home" with Matt and the band joining in after the first verse. They played the majority of the newest release, "Post War" which pleased me because it was one of the few albums that helped me make it through the summer. For the first encore we were graced with Matt coming out on his own and playing one of his guitar solo's and then Vincent O'Brien. To close the 1st encore they played the fitting new track "Magic Trick" which contains the refrain, "She's got one magic trick, just one and thats it... She dissapears." They left but not before they crowd brought them out for "Vincent O'Brien". Once I listen to the recording of the show I'll post the setlist.

John's Vampire Advertisentures

John's Vampire Advertisentures

Mulliganades is lost in New York City and it is clearly making him mad. It looks like he has acquired some kind of advertisment job but I thought he was working temp work. All I can hope is that his craziness will leave him with enough credit to help me get an apartement with him later on this year.
Without a doubt he's a way better writing than me and probably more creative is some ways, so go read his blog and ignore mine. Please do come back though because once I'm in NYC I'll be bored and blogging more often.

Facebook the new Ultimate Stalker Tool

Facebook now has a great new update of the "Mini-feed". It will tell you everything any of your friends has done recently. Now you will know if friend-x posted a message on friend-y's wall. And if friend-w is in a relationship they get a big heart next to the feed and if they are no longer in one they get a big broken heart(sad). Big brother is watching everyone now on facebook and you can too. No wonder the facebook guys are making billions, they have tapped into every marketing and advertisers dream market. Watch your back and cover your tracks or Mark Zuckerburg will kill you.
