Analyst sees terabyte iPod in Apple's future
That's right 1000 gigabytes in an iPod, pretty hard to imagine right now, but it sounds like the future. If you had asked anyone 5 years ago how big you thought anyone would need for a portable device, they may have said 20gb at the most, but most would have probably said something in the 100s of megabyte range. Considering terabyte drives right now are in the thousands of dollars, it is going to take a lot of shrinking and lowering of price to get them to iPod size.
