I Believe This is Happening: Terrorism

I have been busy as all hell with my film, "I Believe This is Happening: Terrorism". We have finally finished it and I have been making nonstop copies for the past 20 hours. We are premiering it at Bates College in Olin Arts Center room 104 at 2pm today, and at 8pm tonight in the Filene room.
John and I have made some sweet DVD's with outakes, an alternate opening, and a directors commentary track. We are excited to show it off and hope that people enjoy it. If you want a copy from me, the best way would be to do it B&P(Blanks and Postage Style). Just email me at dfdrury@gmail.com and we can figure something out.
This is our first film and it was a learning process, we feel however that we did a pretty damn good job considering we had no budget and spent about 100 dollars on it. It runs 35 minutes and has some great music to it. That's about all I can say for now, see you at the premiere.

Dave Chappelle Says He's Not Crazy

Dave Chappelle Says He's Not Crazy and I hope to believe him. It is too bad that Comedy Central is giving him shit though. Comedy Central says he has complete freedom, but I don't believe it, they are probably trying to control the show a lot. Good for him to take time off and reevaluate the direction of his show.

Arrested Development Officially Back??

the futon critic - the web's best primetime television resource reports that Arrested Development is officially back. Let's wait for the trade shows to be sure though. (crossing fingers to be true)

Wahoozering

Well it has been a very busy couple of weeks. "I Believe This is Happening: Terrorism" is nearing completion. It will be premiering about a week and a half from now. I just hope that our humor is taken well. There are a couple of offensive scenes, but I think people will laugh.

Nate Holt returned this weekend for The Strange Bedfellows Alumni Show, it was a great show. Nate B was also there and he is a great, crazy dude. I never really improved with him before but it was fun as hell. I've been so busy I haven't had much time to stay up to date with music or anything. Stupid Warehouse hasn't even delivered the new DMB album, so I haven't even heard that yet, pretty lame.

2 weeks until Alaska, I've got some shit to figure out, better get on top of it.

I Believe This is Happening

John and I have been working hard on our independent study. We are writing, producing, and acting in a TV show that we call, "I Believe This is Happening". Check out our weblog for it as we update you on the creative process. We have written the entire first episode sans the intro scene. We have filmed 4 scenes and edited 3. The genereal theme of the show is Terrorism and it is hopefully going to be done in a similar fashion of an Upright Citizens Brigade episode.

New DMB songs, Family Guy and American Dad Return

Check the Ants Marching message boards for downloads of two new DMB songs. The other day at the New Orleans Jazz fest the band debuted "Stand Up", the title track off of their new album slated for May 10th, as well as "Louisiana Bayou".

Tonight beginning at 9pm Family Guy and American Dad are back. Even though the new Family Guy already leaked on the internet I'm sure the ratings will be high. Too bad they had to push back Arrested Development to 18 episodes for these to premier now, you win some, you lose some.
