There isn't too much else going on. Arrested Development is done with their first season and hopefully will be renewed for a third. After a 2 year cancelation Family Guy will be coming back on May 1st, as well as American Dad.

Last night I had the great pleasure to see the Shins with the Brunettes opening for them. The Brunettes were awesome, definitely check them out if you can. I bought their first album, and will be looking to get their second very soon. Their website is down right now, but keep trying to get in and check them out. The Shins played a pretty good set including one new song and one cover.

The UCB movie Wild Girls Gone was premiered this weekend(see older post). A few lucky floridians saw it, here is a quick review from one lucky fan.

Dave & Radiohead, new G5's, of Montreal

Dave Matthews likes Radiohead. Hail to the Tripping Billies, Dave is a big Radiohead fan and even nominated them for some Rolling Stone poll.

Apple looks to pump out more powerful machines. It looks like new G5 power macs, and iMac G5, and eMacs are on the way with the new OSX.

Looks like I might get the chance to see Of Montreal tonight in Portland at the Space Gallery. If you haven't heard Satanic Panic in The Attic, check it out, its great.

USA Today is doing a poll of what TV shows should stay and what should go. I recommend voting for Arrested Development to stay on the air. If you still haven't seen it go and buy the 1st season DVD right now. If you are a devoted fan, Pledge your allegiance to the show.

I can't stop listening to The Decemberists. They are coming to Portland at the end of May, so check them out if you get a chance.

James Mercer from the shins gives a quick interview. The Shins are on tour right now and I'm going to see them in Montreal next week.

Tiger is coming out April 29th. Even though I don't have a Mac I am still excited to see the new OSX is coming out at the end of the month. I will be working on some sweet dual G5's for some movie editing this short term.

Stella on Comedy Central

Premiering after South Park on June 29th, Stella will follow the crazy antics of Michael, David, and Michael. If you haven't seen the Stella Shorts you should definitely check them out. I got the chance to see these guys in Boston last November. If you saw MTV's The State, or Wet Hot American Summer you will be sure to recognize these guys. Their humor is usually pretty crude, but hilarious, so it should be interesting to see how it translates to TV. I'll be in Alaska, but I'll have someone tape it or download it for me I'm sure.

UCB to LA + UCB DVD Season 2?

Looks like UCB will be opening a theatre in LA because Walsh, Besser, and Roberts all live there now. They will be doing shows as well as offering classes. Just more of a reason for me to move to LA for a period of time. Also they are urging people to voice your desire to get UCB Seasons 2 and 3 on DVD.(If you don't have seasons 2 and 3 on your computer shoot me an email and I can hook you up.)

Wow I just happened to do this search at the right time, lots of UCB news because "Wild Girls Gone" is coming out this weekend in Florida. This is a nice background history of the UCB. There are a bunch of articles around but this one seems to be the newest, yesterday.

I found some info on the UCB movie that they have made. I would love get a chance to see this, but knowing the distribution companies it will probably be a really long time. I will probably have to wait for the DVD, if it ever comes. The other movie that was made by Matt Walsh and Ian Roberts was Martin & Orloff I never saw that one either, but hopefully it will make its way onto DVD soon.
